Real Backgammon

Overview

Real Backgammon is designed to be a private, offline-first game. We do not require you to create an account. We do not sell your data. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

What We Collect

Data stored on your device only:

• Game statistics — wins, losses, games played. Stored locally, never sent to us.
• Settings — sound, haptics, language preference. Stored locally only.
• AI training weights — neural network data generated on your device. Stays on your device.

What we do NOT collect:

Advertising (Free Version)

The free version of Real Backgammon uses Google AdMob to display interstitial ads between games. AdMob may collect certain device and usage information to serve relevant ads.

On iOS, we request your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before any advertising identifier is accessed. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.

• Ad data collected by AdMob: approximate device info, ad interactions, IP address (handled by Google).

In-App Purchases

Premium upgrade purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store). We do not receive or store your payment details. Apple's privacy policy governs all transaction data.

Purchase status (premium / free) is stored locally on your device via system frameworks. We do not maintain a server-side account.

Children's Privacy

Real Backgammon does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The app does not require any personal information to play and contains no social features, messaging, or account creation.

The free version displays ads. Parents who prefer a completely ad-free experience for their children can purchase the Premium upgrade.

Data Retention & Deletion

All game data (statistics, settings, AI weights) is stored locally on your device. To delete it completely, simply delete the app. No data remains on any server because no data is sent to us.

Advertising data collected by Google AdMob is subject to Google's own retention policies. You can manage Google's ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

Third-Party Services

This app uses the following third-party SDKs:

No analytics SDKs (Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.) are included in this app.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through an app update. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
